OOTE- 23 in Groovy wonderland!

Saturday night  I spent my night in Groovy Wonderland of Tiger Tiger in Manchester!

It was my birthday on Tuesday and as a night out with friends I wanted to do something different so we ended up having a 70s and 80s night!

We paid to reserve seating in Tiger Tiger although the snag is the seating area is only yours exclusively until 10pm and when your nights out usually don't start until then it was a bit of a push to get everyone out on time!

So a little disappointed but still a fun night!

I wanted to share a few pictures with you and of course I will detail outfits and make up... if you are interested :)

My blue dress is from Missguided and was a recent purchase so should still be on their website if you would like it!

My shoes are gold glitter and are from New Look and are lovely and sparkly, this was my glimmer of 70's boogie wonderland attire! :)

My make up-
Foundation Rimmel match perfection in Ivory
Collection 2000 Matte perfection finishing powder
Rimmel Bronzer
Sleek Makeup blusher in coral
Eyelure Nadine Lashes
Sleek palette base gold, socket line navy blue, highlight electric blue.
ELF gel liner in black
George Highlighter on cheek bones
Natural collection nude lipstick
ELF lip liner in nude

Glossy Box- What is it?

I should have written this post a while ago... just to explain the Glossy Box concept for those who don't know.

I recently had a question about what it is and how they get involved, which is when i realised I haven't blogged about it!

But better late than never and hopefully this will be helpful for the newbies and those who don't know about the Glossy Box craze.

Glossy Box is a company that you subscribe to for £10 per month plus £2.95 p&p.

You can cancel your subscription and any point you want by contacting the Glossy Box team via their website.

For your £12.95 per month you receive 5 luxury products from high end brands.

I got involved with this because from a bloggers point of view its perfect to review the products that you get each month. And also I love get my little delivery of goodies every month.

The packaging is gorgeous and the box sturdy and strong to re use again and again!

Its worth trying once, the problem may be that if that month you don't get great products it may put you off! But that is why it is so great that you can cancel when you like or carry on seeing what the monthly box brings :)

I must admit it is hit and miss! I have had months when I have been totally disappointed! But others I have been delighted. But I think this is only to be expected with something that is so mass produced.

Hope you find this useful!

Here are the links to my recent glossy boxes so you can see for yourself!

Sleek Make up Pout Polish-Peach Perfection

I love Sleek make up and couldn't wait to try this new pout polish. I regularly enjoy wearing a nude lip so this colour was perfect.

The pout polish is a lovely consistency and glides on to the lips, it feels incredibly nourishing whilst on the lips. It leaves a subtle hint of colour. There are other fantastic colours in the range as well as fruity pop colours such as hot pink and purples which I am excited to try!

I have given the pout polish a good testing, using it everyday for at least 5 weeks and the product has hardly gone down! Love that it is lasting so long and the price is just fantastic!

Love this product, I bought mine at Superdrug for £4.30

September Glossy Box

 September Glossy Box.

I enjoy receiving my Glossy box every month purely because it usually introduces to brands and products I haven't heard of before and Septembers box was no exception.

Products in this months box:

Dead sea spa magik salt brushing
HD Brows palette
Mary Greenwell Plum Perfume
Moa The green balm
Neal and Wolf Glow Super shine spray

Of course the HD brows palette was the most well received item! I can't wait to have actual HD Brows done I have been intrigues by the treatment for a while and would love to have it done when I get around to it!

The powders in the palette are of a lovely consistency and extremely pigmented! A little goes a long long way!

The Dead sea spa salt brushing is a lovely nutritious treat to give your skin, I even didn't feel I had to moisturise after using this in the shower! I wouldn't use it every shower time however! Just for an occasional treat!

The Mary Greenwell perfume was not for me I am afraid! Quite a traditional smelling perfume!

The Moa The green Balm really doesn't float my boat!  I really don't understand why I would buy this as a body balm! If I have dry skin I will just moisturise a little more! I wouldn't reach for this! Although each to their own I suppose but this product definitely not for me! I think this type of product is definitely something that is a waste of money!

Neal and Wolf shine spray was also a treat for me as I love anything that will make my hair extra shiny! And this product smells absolutely divine! Gorgeous products!

There is a mixed bag of products coming from the glossy box team at the moment and I keep thinking I may cancel. I have never been completely happy with a full box. As many times I have looked at other blogs and the products they received would have suited me much better! I just hope there hurry up and sort out a good     questionnaire that will help them to give each individual everything that would suit them!

I may give it another couple of boxes to see if it gets any better!

What do you think of glossy box? Are you getting perfect products for you?

Collection 2000 Sheer Loose Powder

A lovely sheer powder and a lovely matte finish to any foundation.

The only problem with this was getting the product out of the container! When tapped slightly no product comes out yet when tapped a little more harshly the powder ends up everywhere! So little design flaw on this one as I have never had this problem with the Chanel powders!

Great product non the less and although does appear quite white looking on the pictures is is sheer when applied.
