ELF Eyebrow Kit in light

When I received this from ELF i was slightly dubious as the powder colour looked completely wrong, but I decided to give it a go anyway!

And I am glad I did because it actually works really well!

The kit comprises of a gel like formula that you use to fill in and lengthen the brows and the powder is used to set this in place.

Normally the applicators with these kind of products is useless but I have to say the applicator with this kit is fabulous! And really makes the kit worth while!

left:gel                                                 right:powder

The brush is thin enough to get just enough product on the brows to replicate the brow hairs so the brows look completely natural with this on! Absolutely love this product and would recommend this to anyone!

Colour:Light
Price: £3.50
Buy again?: Defiantly!

ELF studio creme eyeliner

I had never tried gel eyeliner before this one, so wanted to try a cheaper version just to make sure that I could use it and also if I didn't like the look I wouldn't be too disappointed by spending to much money on it...

And so to the product... the packaging is lovely as it usually is on the ELF studio range. Black lid, which seems pretty air tight and a clear bottom container that the product is in.

The liner is really creamy and pretty easy to use with the brush provided. It is a true black colour although I did find I had to go over the liner a few times to get a deep black line.

It is easily smudged when first applied but does stay put once dried.

The ELF studio liner is available in quite a large colour range so I think I will be trying a few of the other colour to! For £3.50 this liner is an absolute bargain!

ELF Liner and Shadow stick- Purple,Green and Black

I bought these a while ago but wanted to give them a good test before I wrote a review on them.

Both shadow and liner are very soft, creamy products which glide onto the eye. This however does cause the liner to smudge fairly easily, so if your looking for a liner with staying power this may not be the one for you.

The purple also stains the lid a little if you wear it alone. It leaves a quite pinky colour where the liner has been applied and so makes the eye look quite sore! Even if it isn't ! Not a good look to be honest!

GREEN/MOSS

BLACK/SMOKE

PURPLE/PLUM

As you can see from the 'purple' liner it is not purple at all! I would say it is more a mauve colour than a purple, but it does still compliment the plum liner.

OVERALL

I must say I was rather disappointed with these products although for the price, I don't feel as cheated as I would if I had spent a lot more on the liners. I would recommend them if you like playing with colours and wearing alternate colours often as the price makes it still affordable to buy 2 or 3!

PRODUCT

ELF Studio Eyeliner and Shadow Stick in Black/Smoke, Purple/Plum and Green/Moss.

PRICE £3.50 each (although I bought them with a promotion for £1 each)

WHERE CAN YOU BUY IT?

SCORE:6/10

Have you tried the ELF shadow sticks? What did you think?

ELF Primers

I did an ELF Haul of products a few weeks ago, but have yet to review in detail so here goes!...

THE PRIMERS

I bought ELF Mineral Face primer from the ELF Studio range.

I loved the packaging on this product it was so sturdy and expensive looking!
The product inside was great too! A clear solution that glided on didn't clump or go patchy, went on evenly and left a peachy soft base for foundation! And a little goes a long way! LOVE THIS!

ALTHOUGH I ran out so fast! I was gutted!
The primer lasted me about 2 weeks and this wasn't applying it everyday either and with just one pump per application... You cannot see the product through the bottle so you have no idea when it is going to run out!

At £6.00 I thought what a great price for a great primer, although then I ran out so fast I have now reconsidered buying again as there are plenty more primers out there that aren't going to run out mid way through putting your make up on!!

for the packaging 10/10
for the product 9/10
Overall 7/10 (the amount really knocked the scored down here)

Have you had the same experience with ELF mineral primer?

ELF Eyelid Primer

Similar story here folks ! SMALL SMALL quantities :(
Great product however and yes of course for the price.... (£1.50)
I can't expect van loads of primer can I? Although I must say this has lasted  longer than the mineral face primer!

Lovely consistency to this eyelid primer, slightly tinted but once blended in you cannot tell it is there at all. I think this helps give a better base however, to allow the true colour of the eye shadow to come through and really pop!

Have you tried any of ELF's Primers?
