April Glossybox- The Natural Box

I finally received my April Glossybox late last week and thought I would share my thoughts. I'm not going to bore you all too much with things as there is a lot of reviews out there already....




This months box is 'The Natural Beauty Box' and comes in a 100 per cent biodegradable box!
All products inside the box are ethical- Fab! Beauty with a conscience!

I received:


Inka Cosmetics Organic Eyeliner in Black- A lovely eyeliner pencil, glides onto the eyelid and does not drag at all. Lovely pigmented colour. One of my fav products this month.
Figs and Rouge Lip Balm in Rambling Rose- I have something on my lips nearly every minute of everyday, lipbalms, glosses etc. I was interested to try this product as I do love organic products especially in beauty as I feel happier knowing I am not caking my face full of chemicals. The balm is very soft in the tin and glides on to the lips at first it feels a quite rough texture (almost like a scrub).But this quickly changes as the balm melts into the lips, lovely product feels super moisturising!
Caudalie SOS Thirst quenching serum- I can't help but think that this is one of those products like oh so many products I receive in my glossy boxes that get put in a draw and that's where they shall stay. I do not have a problem with dry skin so I cannot give this a fair review. The serum is very watery not like other serums I have used in the past.
Kai Perfume Oil- This is my favourite product from this months box. I absolutely adore this scent. It is so natural and fresh smelling love this! Only down side there isn't much in the sample bottle!
Ayuuri body wash-  Not used this product yet as I am saving it for my hols! Enriched with Aloe Vera Coconut oil and jasmine. Smells divine! And if something smells good I will buy it! Perfect size to take away on holiday and Aloe Vera perfect for freshly tanned skin! Perfect! 


Overall I really have enjoyed this box. Usually there is more products I dislike than like but this month it is the other way round! Fab

Glossy Box August

Sorry this is so late! But it arrived just before I went on holiday and I haven't had chance before now to review it!

In this months glossy box:

Ahava Mineral Body lotion.

Absolutely gorgeous moisturiser! Gorgeous smell, I just wish there was more of it! Although this was a trial size so I can't complain much! great consistency, will defiantly be purchasing this in full size.

Daniel Sandler Jumbo Jet mascara.

I have only used this once so far, I have to say I'm not that impressed! I am stuck on the fab L'oreal 4d architect mascara (review to follow!) and to be honest the jumbo jet mascara does not live up to 4D at all! I will give it another go though and see if my mind is changed but for now... I won't be buying the Daniel Sandler mascara.

KMS California Hairstyle boost

This is a very strange product. When the product is sprayed out of to the hand it is extremely freezing cold! And crackles a lot! A very strange sensation! When applied to the hair it does make it heavy which is good although it didn't leave a memorable impression of holiday my style in place, no different to styling my hair without it! I definitely think this product would be a waste of money to buy full size!

Murad Time release blemish cleanser

Another disappointing product this month form Glossy box! I was keen to try this as I am prone to break outs! I used this during a hormonal break out and the trial tube lasted about 2 weeks which i think is plenty of time for it to do some good. Although there was no difference at all, no change and no clearer skin I am afraid so I won't be buying this product either.

Rebel Nail Wraps in gold.

Disappointing is becoming a theme in this blog post unfortunately but again... a big disappointment! I have wanted to try nail wraps for some time as they seemed so easy and quick although they are so fiddly and can really get you stress! Honestly after all the messing that I had to do just to organise them on two nails it would have been quicker to paint all ten nails! And also not a good colour to receive either!

I'm sorry this blog post has been rather down on most of the products but I do like to be honest with you all!

The next glossy box is on its way so come back soon to see if Septembers box is any better!

China Glaze Papaya Punch

This is my first China Glaze nail polish, and I pretty impressed with this one!

The colour is gorgeous and perfect for summer!!

The consistency is fairly runny, so care is needed that it doesn't drip everywhere!

But other than that, love it!

• Good shaped handle to hold, I know some polish handle can be quite awkward to hold!

• brush is a good size to cover the nail in a few strokes

• I used 3 coats of product to get a good solid block of colour

• The China glaze polishes are pretty glossy too!

Colour Club Nail polish- Worth the Risque

Colour Club Nail Polish in Worth the Risque is a kind of holographic nail polish.

I searched for this after seeing the gorgeous GOSH  version on a few blog's .


Obviously I am kinda late to the game on this one as it has been discontinued and is on Ebay from starting prices of £15!!!


Well I am not for spending that much on one nail polish, so off I went in search of a dupe.


And I found Colour Club.


I bought this online too, from Ebay and it looked perfect.




It is gorgeous when the light catches it in the right places but when it doesn't it was kind of a let down really, just a normal silver coloured nail polish, I must say I was a little disappointed! :(


But like I say when the light catches it is gorgeous I hope you are able to see this in the pictures.

I would give this 5/10 it wouldn't be a regular nail polish as I got rather bored with it after two days!


Not enough 'WOW' for me i'm afraid. :(

Sigma Brushes- Make me Crazy

MaKe Me CrAzY!

This is my very first investment in Sigma brushes as I have always used MAC brushes.

Sigma brushes are raved about all over blog and You Tube world so I thought I would get myself a piece of the action and as I didn't have a full set of brushes I thought, what a perfect place to start?! :)

I ordered them from the Sigma website, with postage added, the final sum was $107.65 altogether, which works out as £67.67

I was not disappointed when I got this collection!

The brushes are of gorgeous quality and the purple colour is absolutely beautiful!

Sigma has put this collection together from their best selling brushes on their website, with the collection available in Black, Purple, Pink and Turquoise.

I have the Purple collection which is the 'Make me Crazy' collection

There are 12 brushes altogether and here is a break down of them all:

Eyeliner - E05 


fine tipped synthetic fibre brush for a perfect line to the eyes. 

Pencil - E30 


Natural Bristles...Precise application of colour on the crease, outer corner, and upper and lower lash line. Also ideal to smudge out pencil liner.

Tapered Blending - E40 


Rounded and tapered top. Use to apply and blend colour on the crease. Natural bristles. 

Eye Shading - E55 - 


Soft and dense with a rounded finish. Can be used to apply pressed or loose eye shadows and pigments. Natural bristles.

Large Shader - E60 






Flat shape is ideal for application of cream formulas  It also works great with loose eye shadows or pigments. Can be used to apply colour all over the lid. Natural bristles.

Small Angle - E65 






Can be used for the application of gel or eyeliner on the upper and lower lash line. This brush is also excellent for filling out the eyebrows. Synthetic bristles.

Medium Angled Shading - E70 


Angled, tapered, flat top. Ideal to apply highlight shades underneath the eyebrow and on the inner corners. It can also be used for a precise application of darker shades on the crease area. Natural bristles.

Large Powder - F30 


Very dense with a rounded top. Ideal to apply powder products on face and body. Natural bristles. 

Large Angled Contour - F40 


Angled shape perfect for applying blush or contour shades. Natural bristles.

Duo Fibre - F50 




perfect to create an 'airbrushed' finish to liquid foundation. It can also be used to apply blush, highlight shades and loose pigments. Blend of synthetic and natural bristles.

Foundation - F60 


Can be used to apply liquid or cream foundation. Synthetic bristles.

Concealer - F70 


The rounded, tapered, flat shape makes this brush ideal to conceal the under eye area. It is also recommended for a precise application in small areas. Synthetic bristles.

The holder which the brushes come in changes in to two brush holders too! Perfect for travelling as the case is  solid and sturdy, perfect for keeping all those lovely brushes safe!

The hollow case splits in half and is secure by popper tabs at each side.

Of course, all these brushes don't have to be used for the stated purpose for example I use the tapered blending brush for buffing in concealer too! :)


Gorgeous set of brushes I would give them 10/10

Beautiful colour, a lot different to the usual black handled brushes.

My favourite brush from the kit 'small angled brush' for my eyebrows and pencil brush for perfect application of colour to the crease!
