My MAC Makeover...

I was lucky enough to receive a MAC gift voucher for my birthday last year as a gift.
I really wanted to keep it for a special occasion to get my make up professionally applied and what better special occasion than my engagement party!?

I booked my appointment a far way in advance to make sure I got the day I wanted and the day arrived and I totted down to my local MAC counter at The Trafford Centre Manchester.

My MUA was so lovely and straight away put me at ease. We discussed what kind of look I wanted to go for and whether it was for a special occasion.

I LOVE the Arab inspired make up looks and so decided to go for this idea for the party. We went for nude and brown tones making the eyes smoky and the lips a gorgeous nude coral.

Overall it took just over an hour. The make up voucher was £25 and for this you get your make up applied and £25 to spend on products from MAC which I must say is a bargain as technically you are getting your make up done for free! LOVE THIS!

I had false lashes applied with my look which are £10 I also bought the lipstick that my MUA used in my look which was £13 and to round the figures up bought a lovely pencil sharperner!

Here is the look!

and finally, my Fiance and I at our party...

Have any you enjoyed the MAC makeover?

Lots of love always

My Dream Beauty lust's.....

Having the budget of a student has draw backs often and it can get.. well pretty annoying.

There are so many beauty products that I would love to indulge in but when I have my sensible head on, I know there are more important things I have to pay for.

Although sometimes I do give in to temptation and as this is only a rare occurrence my list of lusts tends to be very long!

I thought I would share with you my list and see what you think?

Do you have any of the items and would recommend them? Or you have tried them and didn't like them?

There are many items to list, which i won't bore you with but heres a selection of my favourite few ...

What do you think? Do you have the same beauty wishes?

This is one of my favourite looks from the collection, statement bright pink lips (Candy Yum yum) with the 'Quite Cute' eyeshadow quad colour of 'Goody goody gum drop' which is a very pale pink.

Check out the full collection at the MAC website

I'm sure you will love it as much as I do!

Have you bought anything from the collection? What do you think?
